FSD Ethiopia is a development agency established in May 2022 to support the creation of accessible, inclusive, and sustainable financial markets in Ethiopia. Funded by FCDO and the Gates Foundation, FSD Ethiopia works to identify and address systemic constraints in the financial sector to drive broad-based economic growth.
Role Overview
FSD Ethiopia is seeking a motivated Program Support Intern to join its team for a three-month assignment. This role offers hands-on experience in program coordination, donor engagement, research, and resource mobilization within the international development sector. The intern will directly support both the Program Team and the Resource Mobilization & New Business Development Team.
Key Responsibilities

Program Coordination & Operations: Assist in scheduling meetings, recording minutes, managing action items, maintaining activity trackers, and providing administrative support.

Proposal & Resource Mobilization Support: Help prepare concept notes, proposal packages, donor presentations, and mapping materials for new business opportunities.

Data & Knowledge Management: Maintain program records, manage databases to ensure data accuracy, and file project documentation, reports, and contracts.

Research & Analysis: Perform desk research on donor opportunities, partnership initiatives, and financial sector market trends.

Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate email correspondence and logistics for internal teams, external partners, consultants, and events.
Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Completed or final-year Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Development Studies, International Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Skills:

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Strong research, analytical, and data entry capabilities.

Solid organizational skills with high attention to detail.
