Médecins du Monde (MdM) or Doctors of the World is an international humanitarian organization that provides medical care and support to vulnerable populations around the world. MdM operates in over 40 countries including Ethiopia, delivering medical aid in crisis zones, conflict-affected areas, and areas of extreme poverty. Our teams of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and support staff, work tirelessly to provide essential medical services, emergency relief, and long-term healthcare programs. MDM–France would like to invite energetic, disciplined, responsible female intern applicant to work under Human Resource department.
Position Title: HR Intern
Duty Station: Addis Ababa
Length of internship: For 6 months

Role Summary
The HR Intern provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team, assisting with employee records, documentation, and HR events. Help ensure accuracy and confidentiality in HR processes while gaining hands-on experience in day-to-day HR functions. This internship offers an opportunity to learn about recruitment, employee relations, and office administration in a professional environment.
Duties of Human Resource intern:
- Maintain and update personnel and confidential files for both active and terminated employees.
- Prepare, complete, and process employment and other HR-related forms and documentation.
- Facilitate staff medical insurance registration, renewal, and claims.
- Handle scanning, copying, and archiving all HR-related documents in both digital and physical formats.
- Answer and route incoming office calls; take messages and provide information as needed.
- Assist in organizing and executing HR events such as orientations, employee farewells, celebrations, and staff activities.
- Always maintain a professional and courteous image.
- Provide administrative support to other departments when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with the HR Assistant and other HR team members to address HR-related matters.
- Perform any other HR-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
About You
Requirements
- Minimum BA degree in Management, Human Resource Management, Law other related social science fields of study from a recognized higher education institution.
- Only Graduates of 2016 or 2017 E.C
- Only zero years of work experience required
- Basic understanding of Human Resource Management
- Basic organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good judgment regarding confidentiality and respect for sensitive materials
