Purpose of the Job
Implement HR plans, programmes and procedures at country level for all SNV staff as well as execute related administrative tasks, guidelines and policies, aligned to relevant regulations and in consultation with the Country HR unit, aimed at successful implementation of the HR administration of SNV Ethiopia, resulting in the right number and quality of motivated staff in country.
A Human Resource Specialist in SNV is responsible for managing key HR functions within the organization.
Their role includes handling recruitment processes, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires. Ensuring positive workplace relations and that HR practices comply with Ethiopian labour laws and organisational policies.
The HR Specialist will take on a supervisory role within the HR team and will also serve as the focal person for a specific project or programme, in addition to their other HR responsibilities.
They play a crucial role in supporting the organization’s workforce and fostering a productive work environment.
