Purpose of the Job:
Plan and implement talent development activities in line with the EHRC talent development strategies and initiatives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect and compile required data to develop talent development plans and strategies.
- Contribute for the development of policies, tools and guidelines for talent management and succession planning process and training of staff on their usage.
- Develop annual training and development plan, monitor their implementation and conduct periodic impact assessment.
- Coordinate the development and roll out of new employee induction programme.
- Implement the roll out of employee performance management of the Commission including training of staff in the process and use of templates.
- Contribute to the design of leadership development and succession planning programs.
- Conduct organizational diagnosis assessment, recommend necessary actions and oversee implementation of actions
- Ensure updated talent development and succession planning data is updated in the HRIS system. Support in data analysis and preparation of reports. Compile list of talent Development institutions, channels, systems, including professional associations and higher educations with their list of Talent Development programs.
- Research new developments and best practices in talent management development execution and management of a continuous improvement approach for all programmes.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
About You
- BA Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or related fields.
- 6 years of relevant experience in HR management
- Demonstrated experience in training and management of employee performance management.
- Experience working with HRIS is a plus.
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of Amharic and English is required. Knowledge of other local languages is advantageous.
