Job Title: HR Associate

Department: Human Resources

Location: on-site

Contract Duration: [Contract: 3 or 6 months]

Report to: Director, People and Culture

Job Summary:

The HR Audit Associate will support the department by conducting detailed audits of HR records, documentation, and systems to ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements. The role focuses on maintaining accurate personnel records, ensuring the proper display of labor posters, and promoting best practices in HR documentation and data management.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough audits of HR records and personnel files to ensure they are current, complete, and accurately maintained.

  • Verify that employee documents are retained for the legally required duration.
  • Ensure all labor posters are displayed visibly and in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Review and assess the use of the HRIS system for data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide training to managers and employees on personnel files management, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify gaps and recommend improvements for HR recordkeeping and documentation processes.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to HR leadership.

About You

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in HR administration, recordkeeping, or compliance auditing preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and documentation standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
