Job Description

Talent Youth Association (TaYA) in partnership with Amref Health Africa implements Kefeta in Addis Abeba and Debrebirhan city. Kefeta envisions Ethiopian youths who are game changers: empowered to advance their own economic, civic, and social development; resilient in the face of shocks; actively promoting development within their communities and contributing to the country’s peace and prosperity.

Kefeta will strengthen the youth ecosystem in Ethiopia with integrated, multi-sectoral, youth-centered programming aligned with the Positive Youth Development (PYD) approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct youth mobilization events
  • Provide youth friendly health service at selected TaYA’s service outlets
  • Provide health education as outreach service
  • Responsible for ensuring quality of service deliverable for clients
  • Register the targeted youth who have accessed youth friendly health service on the Kefeta’s registration book
  • Organize and prepare timely reports including case stories on the services that are provided

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • First degree in Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Health officer and other related field
  • Good team working skills
  • Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and report writing skills and ability to solve problems
  • Proficiency in computer software application, report preparation and data management.
  •  Proficiency in English and Amharic language, written and spoken.
