The position holder will play a key role in delivering mobile health, nutrition, and basic primary healthcare services in Tahtay Adiabo Woreda, Tigray Region, particularly for remote and hard-to-reach kebeles, drought-affected communities, and internally displaced persons (IDPs) where access to fixed health facilities is limited or disrupted. The service includes life-saving community-level interventions such as screening of children and pregnant and lactating women (PLW) for acute malnutrition, and management of cases through Outpatient Therapeutic Programme (OTP), Stabilization Centre (SC), and Targeted Supplementary Feeding Programme (TSFP), as well as provision of basic treatment for common childhood illnesses, maternal and child health (MCH) services, and health education. It also strengthens the referral system by identifying and referring severe or complicated cases from community and mobile outreach sites to nearby health centres or higher-level health facilities for appropriate management
nutritional status of children and PLW. Additionally, he/she is responsible for preparing a joint daily movement plan with corresponding woreda and PHCU and submitting.
