About the Opportunity

The Head of Creative will be responsible for developing, producing, and sharing various forms of content for Inkomoko’s digital channels. Their primary role will be to create content that aligns with the company’s brand voice and objectives, engages the target audience, and promotes the company’s products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative content strategies that align with Inkomoko’s voice and messaging, and are designed to engage and inform our target audiences.
  • Develop and maintain content calendars, editorial guidelines, and style guides to ensure consistency across all content.
  • Create and curate various types of content under different formats for various platforms including blog posts, social media posts, videos, podcasts, infographics, etc.
  • Leading brainstorming and ideation sessions to generate creative content ideas
  • Manage the internal and external content production process, from ideation to distribution, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify content needs and opportunities and ensure that all content is aligned with business objectives and supports marketing and communication initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • The Head of Creative will be passionate about how entrepreneurship can be a force for social change, and will be able to translate that passion effectively and efficiently into compelling messages along the Inkomoko brand.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in content creation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive engagement and support business objectives.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a strong visual eye.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of content marketing best practices and experience with social media, email marketing, and other digital marketing channels.
