Job Description
SUMMARY
New Life Training Center is seeking proactive and detail-oriented Follow-Up & Student Progress Officers to join our team. This vital role bridges the gap between our trainers, students, and parents. The Follow-Up & Student Progress Officer will be responsible for tracking student attendance, measuring skill retention and practical application at home, gathering parent feedback, and conducting structured follow-ups to ensure every student achieves real and lasting growth through our programs.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Exceptional interpersonal, active listening, and telephone communication skills Strong empathy and patience when dealing with parents and children
- Genuine interest in children and child development
- Ability to understand and communicate information related to children’s development and progress
- Excellent organizational abilities with experience managing databases, spreadsheets (such as MS Excel), or digital record systems
- Familiarity with Notion is preferred, or willingness to learn and use the platform Proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of accountability
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling student and family information Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes

Job Title: Follow-Up & Student Progress Officer

Working Days: 4 days per week
Weekly Working Hours: No more than 10 hours per week
WORKING SCHEDULE
The position requires 4 working days per week, consisting of: – 2 class days — supporting and monitoring students during training days. – 2 calling/follow-up days — contacting parents, conducting follow-ups, collecting feedback, and monitoring student progress. The total working time will be no more than 10 hours per week.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Student Retention & Attendance Monitoring: – Track student attendance twice per week. – Identify patterns of absenteeism or irregular attendance. – Conduct timely outreach to parents/guardians regarding missed sessions. – Maintain accurate attendance records.
- Progress Tracking & Evaluations: – Collect performance logs and assessment reports from trainers. – Compile student developmental and progress reports. – Monitor students’ skill retention and practical application. – Share regular, personalized progress updates with parents.
- Parent Engagement & Outreach: – Schedule and conduct regular post-training follow-up calls. – Conduct check-in surveys and feedback discussions with parents. – Gather information about how students are applying their skills at
- home and at school. – Respond professionally to parent concerns and communicate relevant issues to the appropriate team.
- Retention & Re-enrollment: – Maintain positive and active relationships with the center’s current families. – Monitor student and family engagement. – Provide information about advanced training modules and renewal options when appropriate.
- Data Management: – Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of student records. – Record evaluation outcomes, parent feedback, follow-up activities, and issue-resolution logs. – Use Notion and other digital tools to organize and manage student information. – Candidates who do not have prior experience with Notion must be willing to learn and use the platform.
- Feedback Loop: – Analyze parent and student feedback. – Identify common concerns, challenges, and areas for improvement. – Provide constructive recommendations to the training and management teams to support continuous program improvement.
Education:
– Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Education, Guidance & Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
– Minimum 1–2 years of experience in student coordination, customer success, follow-up monitoring, counseling, client relationship management, or a related field.
– Experience in educational, psychological, counseling, or youth-focused environments is preferred
