Job Description

International Development Enterprises (iDE) is an international NGO working with the mission to create income and livelihood opportunities for poor rural households in Ethiopia through the various development projects implemented in in six national regional states (Amhara, Oromia, South Ethiopia, South West Ethiopia, Somali and Tigray) of the country. iDE is currently looking for a highly qualified and experienced personnel for the positions that fulfil the requirements specified hereunder for potential project. Position: Finance and Administration Officer (#1)

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Team Leader and Finance Manager at CO, the Project Finance and Administration Officer performs financial management and administrative duties and ensures compliance to the organization’s rules and regulations. S/he holds responsibility for maintaining complete record of financial transactions and timely reporting for iDE and the other implementing partners. Also, s/he is responsible for personnel administration as well as property and fleet management.

About You

Education:

  • BA Degree in Accounting or related field from a recognized university (minimum)

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience
  • Familiar with NGO budget and reporting set up
  • Familiar with accounting software;
  • Administrative and/or human resource management experiences are of an advantage
  • Proficiency in Microsoft word and excel
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
