BACKGROUND
EngenderHealth-Ethiopia is currently planning to implement the REACH (Reach, Expand, and Access Community Health) project, an integrated SRHR/MHM, and WaSH intervention in the Jimma and Borana zones of Oromia Region. The REACH project will be implemented by a consortium of EngenderHealth, Amref Health Africa, and DKT. EngenderHealth would like an employee well qualified and dedicated candidate as its Field Project Coordinator for Borana field offices at the duty station of Yabello for the REACH project which aims to fulfill the SRHR/MHM, WaSH, and Nutritional needs of Women and young people in Borana zone. This will be a local hire position with an anticipated start date of January 15, 2025; qualified women applicants are highly encouraged to apply.
JOB SUMMARY
The Field Project Coordinator under the supervision of the Project Director will be responsible for will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of the integrated, consortium-run REACH project implementation in the given geography/area. The Field Coordinator will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of all project activities among the consortium members; EngenderHealth, Amref, and DKT.
The position holder will also represent EngenderHealth and the REACH consortium in relevant regional forums and will ensure the establishment of functioning partnerships with all reverent stakeholders in the region; mainly with the public offices (education, WaSH, and Health Offices), CORDAID, FGAE, and other related partners. The Field Coordinator will work to make sure the project database is updated regularly, compile project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and provide assistance in meeting the project commitment to the donor; in meeting project outcome-based performance timely. The Field Coordinator will also make sure baseline, midline, and end-line assessment findings are well integrated into the project implementation. The Field Coordinator will also lead and coordinate the preparation and submission of unified project reports for the consortium, and coordinate the documentation and dissemination of findings, The Field Coordinator will be responsible for making sure that project reports are timely communicated with public signatories.
