Frontieri Consulting is a professional research and consulting firm dedicated to delivering high-quality social, economic, and development research. We are currently seeking capable and committed individuals to join our team as Field Coordinator and Data Quality Control Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Train, supervise, and support field staff on survey procedures and data collection methods.
  • Coordinate all field logistics, including scheduling, travel, supplies, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Monitor field survey progress, resolve issues, and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.
  • Conduct data quality checks (call-backs, spot-checks, high-frequency checks) and follow up with teams to address errors.
  • Collect daily updates from field supervisors, track progress using Google Sheets/dashboards, and prepare performance reports (planned vs. actual).
  • Ensure proper use of resources by monitoring team movement, fuel utilization, and vehicle functionality; prepare fuel and distance reports.
  • Oversee and report on the functionality of field equipment (tablets, power banks, recorders, etc.).
  • Identify and report cases of fraud, misuse of resources, or data falsification, and take corrective actions in consultation with management.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of questionnaires and field data.
  • Prepare and share regular reports (data quality, field performance, financial documentation, fuel/utilization, etc.) with the Project Manager, Finance, Logistics, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain accountability for all field operations, resources, and documentation.

About You

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Management, Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of >5 years’ proven experience in field survey coordination, data collection supervision, or data quality assurance.
  • Experience with large-scale household surveys, baseline/midline/endline studies, or monitoring and evaluation (M&E) projects.
  • Strong background in managing field teams, logistics, and resources in challenging environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in data quality control, including office-based call-backs, spot-checks, and high-frequency data checks.
  • Prior experience with NGOs, consulting firms, or research organizations is an asset.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets for daily tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to design and interpret dashboards or other monitoring tools to track data collection progress.
  • Familiarity with data quality monitoring techniques and error detection methods.
  • Strong analytical, report writing, and documentation skills.

Managerial & Supervisory Skills

  • Proven ability to train, supervise, and motivate large teams of enumerators and field supervisors.
  • Excellent organizational skills for coordinating field survey logistics (scheduling, supplies, fuel management, vehicle use, etc.).
  • Strong leadership in performance monitoring, problem-solving, and corrective action planning.
  • Ability to identify, report, and prevent fraud, misuse of resources, or data falsification.
