Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and upkeep of company facilities, buildings, and infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, structures, utilities, and facility systems to identify maintenance and repair requirements.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities and ensure timely resolution of facility-related issues.
  • Manage and supervise contractors, service providers, and maintenance teams to ensure quality and timely completion of work.
  • Review and monitor civil works, renovations, repairs, and construction-related activities.
  • Prepare scopes of work, technical requirements, cost estimates, and work plans for facility projects.
  • Monitor facility maintenance budgets, material requirements, and related expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental, and building standards.
  • Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, inspections, facility assets, and service contracts.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to address facility-related requirements and provide effective solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve facility efficiency, safety, cost-effectiveness, and workplace conditions.
  • Support facility-related projects, office expansions, renovations, and relocation activities as required.
  • Perform other duties related to facilities and engineering as assigned.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in facility management, building maintenance, construction, or a related engineering role.
  • Practical knowledge of building maintenance, civil works, construction, and facility operations.
  • Experience in supervising contractors and managing maintenance projects.
  • Good understanding of occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and coordination skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering/design software is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple facility-related activities.
