External audit service -Ethiopia

Youth network for Sustainable Development (YNSD) is non-government, nonprofit making indigenous organization which was found in 2003 by four school clubs and fifteen youth associations with the vision to see Ethiopian youth as capacitated, productive, self-reliant and health agents of sustainable development. YNSD has been registered under federal democratic republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) Ministry of justice in 2004 and legally re-registered as consortium of Ethiopian resident charities by the Agency for Civil Society Organizations on February 2010 in accordance with Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No. 1113/2019 with a registration number, 1442.

In accordance with the Accountings and Audit Board of Ethiopia (AABE) Proclamation No. 847/2014 and Civil Society organization Proclamation 1113/2019, YNSD is required to submit an annual audit report of acceptable standard at the end of the fiscal year.

Therefore, YNSD kindly invites a qualified Audit firm (Certified audit firm who has as authorization from office of Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) to conduct an auditing of YNSD’s account for the year ended December 2023 and the following two sequential years.

Scope of the service

• The firm will audit the client’s financial statement for the fiscal year and the next two years.
• There will be about 15- 25 box files of accounting documents.
• The firm should conduct the audit according to IPSAS and Agency for Civil Society Organization requirement.
• Financial report and Management letter will be the Major output of the services.

Requirements:

• The Audit firm should be providing a complete company profile
• Renewed professional license and business registration license
• Certificate of compliance from the office of the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE)
• Have evidence of auditing experience with similar NGOs
• Evidence of previous experience of auditing financial statements prepared based on IPSAS cash Base,
• VAT registration certificate
• Tax payer registration Certificate (TIN)
• The bidders are required to submit the completion time of the audit works.
