Aries Consult Ltd is a leading consultancy firm specializing in monitoring, evaluation, data collection, and policy research across Africa. We are expanding our network in Ethiopia and seeking experienced professionals to support upcoming projects in policy development and implementation.

Position Overview

We are looking for highly skilled experts and field researchers with at least five years of experience in government functions to join our team in Ethiopia. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is required.

Applicants must already be based in Ethiopia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research, policy analysis, and stakeholder consultations.
• Provide technical expertise in one or more of the specified policy areas.
• Design and implement surveys and interviews using digital tools.
• Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and ethical standards of data collection.
• Contribute to policy recommendations, reports, and strategic briefings.
• Engage with government institutions, civil society organizations, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Law, Economics, Environmental Studies, Security Studies, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in government functions, policy development, or implementation.
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian governance structures and public administration.
• Proficiency in English and Amharic. Knowledge of additional Ethiopian languages is an asset.
• Must already be based in Ethiopia and able to travel within the country as needed.
