• High School diploma with six years of relevant experience; or,
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finances, or related fields with four years of relevant professional experience.

Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.

• Proficiency in Excel (financial modelling, pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPs), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; previous experience in SAP/Oracle is a distinct advantage.
• Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage
• Knowledge of financial accounting principles, budget preparation, vendor reconciliation, and bank account reconciliation.

• Ability to accurately review financial documents and transactions.
• Handling sensitive financial information with professionalism.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Attention to detail, ability to organize paperwork in a methodical way.
• Discreet, details and clients-oriented, patient and willingness to learn new things.
• Ability to explain financial matters clearly in both written and verbal communication.
• Ability to consolidate data into financial statements and prepare financial reports.
• Ability to guide and train junior finance staff.

• Fluency in English
