English teachers (6 Positions)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join our team and teach the Cambridge curriculum. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop strong language skills, critical thinking, and a love for literature while delivering lessons aligned with Cambridge Assessment International Education standards.

Key Responsibilities:Teaching and Learning:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in English (language and literature) for Cambridge curriculum
• Plan and implement a well-structured curriculum that aligns with Cambridge guidelines.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and independent learning among students.
• Continuously assess student progress through formative and summative assessments.

Student Development:

• Support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Provide constructive feedback on assignments and examinations.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters mutual respect and curiosity.

Professional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other teachers and academic staff to enhance curriculum delivery.
• Participate in professional development programs to stay updated on Cambridge curriculum changes and teaching strategies.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
• Contribute to school activities, including extracurricular programs, clubs, and events that promote English literacy.

Administration and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations according to Cambridge standards.
• Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health & safety guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Teaching qualification (PGDT, B.Ed, or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching English in an international or Cambridge curriculum setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Cambridge Assessment International Education syllabus and assessment methods.
