eLearning Designer/Developer

Location: Flexible, Flexible

Company: Plan International

Closing Date: 3 July 2022

The Organisation

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls.

We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it’s girls who are most affected.

Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.

We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood. And we enable children to prepare for – and respond to – crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge.

We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 85 years, and are now active in more than 75 countries.

The Opportunity

Through Programme Y.O.D.A (Your Organisation’s Data and Analytics), Plan is changing its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution and is taking a virtual approach to Y.O.D.A training.

Whilst some online simulations are templated, others will require you to liaise with subject matter experts and apply instructional design skills to create engaging activities which meet agreed learning objectives.

About You

The successful candidate will have experience of developing interactive eLearning for a learning management system (LMS) and has expertise in using Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline (or similar) to design and develop engaging online learning. They will also have strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly, with high levels of accuracy, as well as the ability to manage multiple competing priorities. They will need to have robust communications skills in both written and spoken English, and the ability to apply diversity and inclusion principles within the training.
