Job Description

The Opportunity GAC/BOE : Education Project Coordinator BRIGHT LEARNING OUTCOMES funded project

Role/Purpose: 

The project  Coordinator for BRIGHT OUTCOMES funded project will work with regional education bureau, district education offices and community to bring back into school and retain girls at schools.

The Project Coordinator will lead the education project at region level, which will be responsible for: (i) overall coordination of the project, (ii) community mobilization; (iii) overall monitoring, review and reporting processes of the project, and (v) ensuring a harmonized implementation approach across schools.

The position holder will technically guide and advise BRIGHT OUTCOMES project implementation ensuring that it is of high quality and aligned with BRIGHT OUTCOMES education proposal and indicators. The position-holder will also be responsible for aligning the project to the Education Clusters emergency response especially in establishing and maintaining inter-agency coordination mechanisms . Given the emergency nature of the programme and areas of intervention,  the role holder will be expected to work outside the regular role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
