Job Description
To plan, deliver, and assess high-quality teaching and learning in accordance with the Cambridge Curriculum, ensuring students achieve academic excellence while fostering critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge Curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and learning resources.
- Assess, monitor, and report student progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Prepare students for Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, and/or AS & A Level examinations, as applicable.
- Maintain effective classroom management and create a positive learning environment.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leadership regarding student progress.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding procedures, and professional standards.
- Perform other duties assigned by the school leadership.

- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject area from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience, preferably in a Cambridge or other international curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge Curriculum and assessment practices.
- Experience preparing students for Cambridge IGCSE and/or AS & A Level examinations is an advantage.
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and learning.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- PGDT or an equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
- Cambridge teaching certification or professional development training is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, teamwork, and commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.
