Flawless, safe, and discreet transportation ensures zero operational delays, absolute VIP satisfaction, reliable mobility that protects people, assets, and the organization’s reputation.

Work Location

  • Addis Ababa.

Expected duration

  • 3 months.

Duties and Responsibilities

Demonstrate Professionalism & Safety: Exercise the highest degree of professionalism, maturity, accountability, and responsibility in all transportation operations. Ensure the safety and security of passengers, vehicles, and goods throughout the entire area of responsibility.

Maintain Vehicle & Logs: Keep the assigned vehicle in a clean, well-maintained, and good running condition. Accurately document all vehicle usage and complete the official Vehicle Log at the end of each trip.

Practice Defensive Driving: Employ defensive driving techniques and security awareness at all times. Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner, providing courteous, professional, and client-oriented service.

Manage Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain all vehicle inspection records, monitor maintenance schedules, and promptly inform the Transport Supervisor of any required actions.

Report Incidents: Immediately report all accidents, incidents, and any vehicle or passenger-related issues to the Transport and Security sections.

Support VIP Delegations: Provide transport support to VIP delegations, upholding a positive image of the organization. Responsibilities include punctuality, maintaining strict confidentiality, and providing appropriate guidance to delegates.

Provide Airport Assistance: Support VIP delegations in both normal and VIP lounges during airport transit. Assist the Protocol Office with official travel arrivals and departures.

Facilitate Airport Formalities: In the absence of a Protocol Officer, meet UN officials at the airport and facilitate immigration, customs, and air clearance formalities.

Handle Deliveries: Safely and promptly deliver official parcels and documents to designated locations.

Qualifications/special skills

  • 4 YEARS.
  • Automotive driving license.
