Driver, Head Office, Addis Ababa

Purpose of the Job:

• To ensure efficient, safe and proper movement of people and goods using assigned vehicle.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Transport goods and/or people to desired destination using assigned vehicle;
• Handle vehicle in a safe and secure manner;
• Responsible to washing vehicles and changing of tyres of the assigned vehicle;
• Get proper preventive maintenance service for the assigned vehicle according to schedule;
• Adjust, lubricate and service vehicle on time;
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repair of assigned vehicle;
• Notify Fleet Management Supervisor when major vehicle malfunctions occur;
• Report the use of vehicles and fuel to immediate supervisor;
• Report any accidents to the appropriate organs on time;
• Dispatch letters and documents as assigned;
• Ensure all areas and equipment is clean;
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant Driving license.
• High School graduate (10th grade complete).
• Diploma or Certificate in Auto mechanic is a plus.
• 2 years of experience working as a Driver.
• Knowledge of Amharic is required. Knowledge of other local languages is advantageous.
