RTI’s work is helping foster stronger food systems, reduce malnutrition in all its forms, build resilience and engage the next generation of food security leaders. ABOUT THE PROJECT/PROGRAM
The purpose of the USAID/Ethiopia Feed The Future Ethiopia Transforming Agriculture Activity is to increase access to healthy diets, particularly for women and children, by improving competitiveness, inclusiveness, and resilience of the Ethiopian food and agriculture system. It will also increase incomes gained from agriculture by as much as 40 percent over the next five years. To achieve its goals it must collaborate intensively with other USAID-funded projects working in the food and agriculture sector.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Driver is responsible for transporting assigned staff members to their destinations in a safe and timely manner in addition to taking on other supportive roles that will require you to drive. Moreover, the driver is responsible for the safe arrival of any cargo or item placed in their vehicle. He/She will also be responsible for the vehicle that is assigned for them: for the regular preventative maintenance, maintain cleanliness to ensure it performs as it should. The driver should also adhere to the local and company regulations that ensure safe driving.

Drivers – Hawassa reports to the Operations Manager – Hawassa.
Drivers – Addis Ababa reports to the Fleet Officer.
