Driver

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the logistic and admin officer, the Driver will be responsible for the following duties:

•  Drive office vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel.
• Collect and deliver mail, documents, and other items.
• Ensure that all vehicles comply with the Minimum Operating Security Standards
• Take care of the day to day maintenance of assigned vehicles, check oil, water, battery and brakes.
• Log official trips, daily mileage, gas consumption, oil changes and greasing.
• Follow all rules and regulations in relation to the management of NEPAD Planning and Coordinating Agency vehicles.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Education, Training and Experience

• Minimum grade 8 complete
• Driver’s License at least three (3) years old
• At least three (3) years working experience as a Driver for a company, family or Public service agency
• NGO experience will be an added advantage

Languages

• Excellent knowledge of local language (Somali) would be an added advantage.
