Job Description:

Organic Liquid Fertilizer plc is one of the fastest growing companies in the country owing to the manufacturing and distribution of the highly demanded liquid fertilizer at national level. We have a strong mission to support the Ethiopia agriculture sector to flourish in the best form of productivity through manufacturing an environmentally friendly liquid fertilizer and distributing it in a timely manner at very affordable price. Due to its expansive approach, the company needs a committed professional who can work at the position of deputy general manager that can oversee many operations related to the manufacturing and distribution of fertilizer products and is expected to report to the general manager of the company. The position requires the following lists of responsibilities but not limited to them


  • Oversee and improve manufacturing operations, establishing and driving production goals and developing organizational structures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures, providing resources
  • Oversee employee hiring, training, human capital development, and management, providing guidance to leadership teams.
  • Manage finances, monitoring budgets, expenses, and product unit costs to drive revenue and margin projections.
  • Maximizes the revenue of the company through applying a candid approach by developing and applying marketing and sales program
  • Designs a project to solicit fundraising programs to support our green technology products
  • Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and technical services policies and practices; and coordinating actions with corporate staff.
  • Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; and enforcing ethical business practices.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards..
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Work Schedule  

  • The position of this duty will generally need working during business hours, but depending on the demands of the job, they may work some long days, late nights, and weekend

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Degree in agricultural economics with at similar positions 4 years and above 5 years of managerial experience preferably in manufacturing companies
