JOB SUMMARY
Deputy Area Coordinator directs all programs in the area, ensuring effective implementation, monitoring, reporting, and alignment with senior leadership. The role manages budgets, financial compliance, procurement, logistics, and vendor relations while reducing operational and financial risks. It leads emergency response, enforces security measures, and supports HR functions including recruitment, performance management, conflict resolution, and staff care. The position maintains strong relationships with communities, authorities, UN agencies, INGOs, and local NGOs to ensure coordinated, accepted, and impactful programming while upholding organizational values and fulfilling additional duties as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE NEEDED·
Masters or Bachelor degree in Project Management, Humanitarian Programming, International Development, or related field of study
