Data‑Encoder Coordinators (2 Positions)

ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW

The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by proclamation No. 1133/2011, is the constitutionally mandated body to conduct elections, organize referendum and regulate political parties in Ethiopia. NEBE is working to boost its’ institutional strength with a special focus on enhancement of human resource capacity. Accordingly, NEBE would like to invite applicants for Data‑Encoder Coordinator position who meet the following requirements.

Required number: Two

Reports to: Head, Election Logistics

Duty station: NEBE Headquarter, Addis Ababa

Duration: Five Months Contract with the possibility of Extension

Salary: As per the organization’s salary scale (Competitive)

Key Activities

• Oversee and coordinate daily data‑encoding operations.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of waybill processing.
• Provide guidance and support to data encoders.
• Communicate operational issues to supervisors and relevant teams.
• Monitor workflow, task distribution, and performance reporting.

Education and Work Experience:

• Masters or BA degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science or related fields.
• 5 years for Masters or 7 years for BA
• years of experience in data management or coordination roles.
