Credit Life Insurance and Vehicle Insurance Team Leader at Awach Saving & Credit Cooperative Society

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate and results-driven Credit Life Insurance and vehicle Insurance team leader to lead and follow up our member insurance status and made actual decision to avoid risk for both( member and Awach Sacco’s).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the SACCO’s insurance operations (credit life & vehicle insurance).
• Supervise insurance officers and ensure target achievement.
• Manage claims processing and collaborate with insurers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and SACCO policies.
• Provide excellent member services and handle complex cases.
• Prepare regular reports for management.

Insurance Operations:

• Oversee the end-to-end administration of credit life insurance for loan clients.
• Manage motor insurance policies for SACCO-owned vehicles and member-requested covers.
• Ensure timely policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
• Work closely with credit department to ensure all loan clients are adequately insured.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree and above in Insurance, Banking, Business Administration, marketing, or related fields.
• 4-6+ years of relevant/direct work experience; at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of credit life and vehicle insurance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with insurance and SACCO operations is a plus.
• Certifications in insurance (CII, LOMA, etc.) are an advantage.
