Construction of Mini 4-in-I Play Field

Background

CPAR Ethiopia, in collaboration with the Education Bureau and school leadership, is sseking to engage a qualified construction company to design and construct a Mini 4-in-1 Play Field at one of its targeted public schools. This initiative is part of CPAR’s broader youth empowerment and school infrastructure enhancement program.

Scope of Work

The selected firm will be responsible for the full construction of a multi-purpose play field that integrates the following components within a compact and durable layout:

• Futsal Pitch
• Basketball Court
• Ground Tennis Area and Volleyball Court
• The play field must be designed to accommodate safe and inclusive use by students appropriate surfacing, drainage, fencing, and markings. The contractor will ‘x’ expected to work closely with CPAR’s team and school representatives to ensure alignment with space availability, safety standards, and community expectations.

Interested construction firms must meet the following minimum requirements

• Valid construction license in Ethiopia (Grade 5 or above in building work
• Proven experience in school or recreational infrastructure projects
• Technical staff with expertise in sports facility design and civil works
• Capacity to complete the project within the agreed timeline and budget
• Compliance with child-safe construction practices and environmental standards

Submission Requirements

• Eligible companies are invited to submit:
• Company profile and relevant credentials
• Technical proposal including design concept and work plan
• Financial proposal with detailed cost breakdown
• List of key personnel and equipment
• References from at least two similar projects completed in the last three years

Evaluation and Award

• Proposals will be evaluated based on technical soundness, cost-effectiveness, eqe•icnce. and alignment with CPAR’s values, budget and standards. Only shortlisted firms will be contacted for site visits and further negotiation.
