INTRODUCTION
ROLE PURPOSE:
Be responsible for the implementation of ‘Cementing Change towards Zero Tolerance of Socio Cultural Factors Affecting SRH of Adolescent Girls’ Project. Ensures quality and effective project activities in the respective project woredas are implemented; work closely with government and other stakeholders, monitors and follow up implementation of activities and document, report implemented activities as per the SCI standard |

Reports to: The project Officer seconded at the regional women and children bureau

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Planning and Reporting:
- In close collaboration with the project officer seconded at regional women and children affairs bureau prepare annual and quarter action plan and ensures timely submission
- Ensure preparation of timely and quality quarterly and annual project progress reports on the prepared formats and submits to immediate supervisor
Coordination and Management of Projects Implementation
- Ensures the project is implemented in ways responsive to the communities, and children in line with Save the Children principles, values and strategic plan and following Save the Children compliance procedures
- Ensures integration of activities of government stakeholders and ‘Cementing Change towards Zero Tolerance of Socio Cultural Factors Affecting SRH of Adolescent Girls’ project and strengthen collaboration at woreda level
- Identify gaps and provide technical and capacity building support for all stakeholders and government sector offices
- In close collaboration with the Programme officer seconded at the regional women and children affairs bureau, and other government stakeholders, facilitate on time implementation of the project activities based on the action plan and ensure implementation quality
- Ensure active participation of children and other stakeholders in the project activities implementation
Supervision and Monitoring
- In collaboration with the Programme officer seconded at the regional women and children affairs bureau, maintain strong supervision and monitoring system to measure achievement and progress toward the project objectives and expected outcomes and impacts
- Conduct monitoring and supervision of the planned project activities implementation and provide technical feedback to improve activities implementation quality
- Strengthen participatory and collaborative supervision and monitoring system including active participation of children
Capacity Building
- In collaboration with the Programme officer seconded at the regional women and children affairs bureau, and other SC and government stakeholders staff, identify gaps and facilitate capacity building training and other support
- Arrange experience sharing forum among government and other stakeholders
- Ensure that the required appropriate technical support is provided for government stakeholders on time and strengthen team spirit and collaborative work

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of diploma in related social fields, health and other development studies.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in working at community based similar projects preferably with non-governmental organizations
- Knowledge of the language of the duty station
- Commitment to Save the Children values
