Future Hopes Integrated Development organization/FHIDO/ is an indigenous, non-governmental, non-profit, secular, legally registered Ethiopian resident charity working to building self-reliant and self-sufficient generation in Ethiopia through comprehensive and sustainable development approach. FHIDO implementing different development programs to change the wellbeing of children and youths found in its operational areas and ensured the sustainable resilience to take part in the social, economic and political activities of their communities.

FHIDO is currently looking for competent, qualified and interested applicants for its sponsorship program which currently implemented in partnership with ChildFund Ethiopia.

No. of Position: – One

Term of employment: One year with possibility of extension based on performance 

Job Requirements

Required Qualification: –

  •  BA degree in Sociology, Social Work Psychology, Education, and other related fields.

Experience: –

  • Minimum 3 years NGO experience in education / Early Childhood Development (ECD) project/ program intervention.

Major skills required:

  • Practical experience in child correspondence preparation and other child sponsorship materials.
  • Experience in facilitating different training for children, parents, teachers and other stakeholders,
  • Liaison with key stakeholders, particularly with woreda and sub-city level education office, schools, ECD centers,
  •  Proven experience in analysis, documentation, advocacy and resource mobilization;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication (both in Amharic & English languages), team and networking skills;
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural team;
  • Ability to write reports and reviews and conduct presentations by clearly formulating positions on issues and defending recommendations;
