Work Location: Lagahida Woreda, Dekaseftu Woreda, Quersadula Woreda, Hudet Woreda, QadaDuma Woreda, Filtu Woreda, Gorobeqaqsa Woreda, Guradamole Woreda, Quib Woreda, Salahad Woreda, Wangey Woreda, Aware Woreda, Bilcilbur Woreda, Daror Woreda, Dig Woreda, Gashamo Woreda, Gunagado Woreda, Yocale Woreda, Elwayne Woreda, Hararey Woreda, Horshagah Woreda, sagag Woreda
Facilitate the planning and implementation of all WFP activities in line with CFM minimum standards by closely working with program team, commodity staff and stakeholders at woreda level. Ensure the complaints are identified, received and respond as per the minimum CFM. Lead and facilitate the establishment of CFM platforms, awareness creation for project participants on their entitlement, targeting criteria, where and When distribution is takes place etc.
Recommend functional and practical CFM solutions and processes based on key stakeholder responses and interactions. Maintain a strong and smooth relationship with woreda and Kebele /Center level major stakeholders in planning and implementing the program as per minimum standards
- Community Engagement: In some cases, this involves engaging with communities, conducting needs assessments, and building capacity.
- Coordination and Networking: Collaborate with other stakeholders, build relationships, and coordinate activities.
- Documenting and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of activities, progress, and outcomes.
- Ensure the establishment of proper Feedback mechanism platforms at FDP level
- Lead and capacitate the community help desk (CHD committee in pre, during post distribution
- Create awareness for project primary participants on over all Food Assistance, role and responsibilities of each actor in the whole process of the assistance
- Compile and report using available (digital and paper based) finding reports as per the reporting time line
- Maintain a strong and smooth relationship with woreda and Kebele /Center level major stakeholders in planning and implementing the program
Required Education, training, license, registration, and/or Certification
- BA/BSc Degree/Diploma in Agric. Econ, Disaster Management, Rural Development, and Economics &Dev’s. Studies
Required Professional Experience
- 1-3 Years of experience
Required Language(s)
- English and knowledge of local language is advantageous
Required travel and/or work environment
- Accommodations, Willingness to work in IDPs and FDPs Position’s
Physical Requirements
- 100% travel to FDPs including over the weekends
