Call for Proposals: Printing and Production Services

Youth Network for Sustainable Development (YNSD) is a non-governmental, non-profit indigenous organization established in 2003 by four school clubs and fifteen youth associations. Currently, YNSD serves as an umbrella network for more than 1,000 youth organizations and associations at the national level.

YNSD’s mission is to contribute to sustainable development by promoting partnerships, strengthening networks, and building the capacity of its member organizations. Its vision is to see Ethiopian youth holistically empowered and meaningfully engaged in all aspects of the country’s sustainable development.

The organization implements a wide range of programs, including youth and women empowerment, Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and HIV/AIDS, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), environmental sustainability, advocacy, WASH, and other emerging development issues.

To support its operational and programmatic activities across various locations, YNSD invites qualified service provider to submit proposals for Printing and Production Services

1. Objective

The objective of this call is to establish a 12-month framework agreement to identify and select qualified and experienced printing and production service providers capable of delivering high-quality services.

2. Scope of work

The vendor will provide printing, finishing, and delivery services for various categories, including but not limited to:

• Marketing Collateral: ID Card, Brochures, flyers, posters, and banners.
• Stationery: Business cards, letterheads, envelopes, and folders.
• Operational Documents: Training manuals, annual reports, and multi-part carbonless forms.
• Finishing Services: Binding, laminating, die-cutting, and folding.

3. Technical Specifications

All submissions should demonstrate the ability to meet the following standards:

• Color Accuracy: Consistency across digital and offset printing (CMYK and Pantone matching).
• Material Quality: Availability of various paper stocks (recycled, matte, glossy, and specialty weights).
• Turnaround Time: Ability to fulfill standard orders within 3-5 business days and “rush” orders within 24 hours.

• Client references and past performance evidence
• Financial proposal with detailed pricing

5. Evaluation Criteria

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following weighted factors:

• Cost Effectiveness: Competitive pricing and bulk discount structures.
• Quality of Samples: Precision, clarity, and material durability.
• Reliability: Proven track record of meeting deadlines and customer service responsiveness.
