Call for Proposal – Documentary Film Production on AMF’s Project Achievements

Dr. Ambachew Mekonnen Foundation (AMF) is a non-profit organization working to advance democratic governance, social justice, and inclusive development in Ethiopia.

As part of the project “Empowerment and Economic Justice for Rural Women in Tach Gaint Woreda” (2024–2025), AMF seeks to hire a qualified media/production firm to compile project photos, videos, and stories into a 15–20 minute documentary film that highlights achievements, lessons learned, and success stories.

Scope of Work

• Compile and edit existing project photos/videos into a professional documentary.
• Conduct supplementary filming (interviews or field footage) where needed.
• Produce a 15–20 min film with narration and subtitles (Amharic/English).
• Deliver final outputs in high-quality digital formats for broadcast and online use.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience producing documentary films for NGOs/CSOs.
• Proven skills in storytelling, video editing, sound, and graphics.
• Ability to produce bilingual subtitles (Amharic/English).
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopia’s cultural/social context.

Timeline

• The work should be completed within 20 calendar days of signing the contract.
