Call for Proposal: Delivery & Document Dispatch Services

Youth Network for Sustainable Development (YNSD) is a non-governmental, non-profit indigenous organization established in 2003 by four school clubs and fifteen youth associations. Currently, YNSD serves as an umbrella network for more than 1,000 youth organizations and associations at the national level.

YNSD’s mission is to contribute to sustainable development by promoting partnerships, strengthening networks, and building the capacity of its member organizations. Its vision is to see Ethiopian youth holistically empowered and meaningfully engaged in all aspects of the country’s sustainable development.

The organization implements a wide range of programs, including youth and women empowerment, Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and HIV/AIDS, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), environmental sustainability, advocacy, WASH, and other emerging development issues.

To support its operational and programmatic activities across various locations, YNSD invites qualified service providers to submit proposals for a Delivery & Document Dispatch Services

1. Objective

The objective of this call is to establish a 12-month framework agreement to provide efficient delivery and document dispatch services to ensure timely and safe delivery of documents, packages, and other goods to various locations.

2. Scope of Services

The selected service provider will be responsible for delivering:

• Dispatch and deliver to specified recipients within agreed timelines.
• Collect documents from designated locations.
• Provide tracking and status updates.
• Handle all deliveries with confidentiality and care.
• Obtain proof of delivery .
• Maintain records of all dispatch and delivery activities

3. Service Requirements

• Safely deliver within specified time frames
• Coverage of designated geographical area (Addis Ababa).
• Use of secure packaging and handling procedures.
• Compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements

4. Duration of Contract

• The agreement will be valid for 12 months, with clear and competitive pricing and possibility of renewal based on performance

5. Eligibility Criteria

Interested bidders must:

• Be a legally registered entity with a valid business license
• Have a minimum of 2year experience on Delivery & Document Dispatch Services
• Demonstrate adequate capacity and qualified personnel
• Provide references from at least 2–3 reputable organizations

6. Proposal Submission Requirements

Applicants must submit:

• Company profile and relevant experience
• Copies of legal registration and licenses
• Financial proposal with detailed pricing
• Client references and past performance evidence
