Call for Expression of Interest

Background: The Network of Ethiopian Women’s Associations (NEWA) is non-partisan, non-governmental network organization established in 2003, and currently NEWA has 38-member local organizations and associations seeking to create a stronger advocacy voice for women’s advancement. NEWA has a twofold goal: synchronizing the individual activities of women’s associations into an integrated collective effort and synergy to realize their common aspirations for gender equality; and launching a vigorous public campaign of promotion, advocacy, and lobbying for women’s rights.

NEWA in partnership with Oxfam GB Ethiopia, is currently implementing a project entitled: “WE-CARE phase V, The development and implementation of advocacy strategy on Unpaid Care and Domestic Works.”. As prerequisite activity in order to executing different capacity building for WROs and formal structures to build movement on UCDW, NEWA plan to develop the training manual on social movement building and UCDW for CSO/WROs and formal structures.

Though NEWA is now looking to hire a consulting firm who can deliver the above training manual with good quality.
