Job Description

East Africa Bottling S.C., a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa and the exclusive bottler of Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia, is pleased to invite passionate and qualified candidates to apply for the position of Business Analyst-Finance.

Reporting to the Country Lead – Finance Supply Chain, you will play a key role in managing and analyzing financial data, optimizing finance systems, and ensuring accurate reporting to support strategic decision-making. You will contribute to process automation, compliance, and project delivery, enabling improved financial performance and operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Financial Data Management & Reporting – Reconcile and resolve discrepancies across financial systems; prepare finance master data mapping; extract, reconcile, and build reports to enhance finance reporting and analytics; ensure accurate financial reporting for local and national promotions.

Financial System Analysis & Optimization – Conduct financial analyses to support system investigations; identify opportunities for digitization and automation; document processes and scope requirements; support system development through user acceptance testing, issue resolution, and post-implementation reviews; contribute to training and project plans.

Governance & Compliance – Manage finance master data requests; perform quarterly self-assessments for compliance; participate in stock counts; support audits by providing required information and implementing corrective actions.

Project Support & Performance Tracking – Monitor and report project performance; identify risks, opportunities, and success factors; support smooth transitions to new finance systems and resolve post go-live queries.

Skills, Experience & Education

First Degree in Accounting and Finance or related fields with a minimum of 5 years experience in financial analysis, reporting, or finance systems management, preferably within a complex or fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
Proficient in stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation of insights.
Strategic thinker with expertise in revenue management and awareness of industry trends.
Customer-focused with strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Resilient, adaptable, and effective under pressure in dynamic environments.
Capable of leading and coaching teams to achieve results.
Committed to execution excellence and high standards in financial activities.
Project management and programming experience are advantageous.
