Brewery Nurse

Key Responsibilities

• A clinical nurse takes down the vital signs of the patient and check for any irregularities and gives proper treatment.
• Always checks & follows medical equipment’s of the clinic are clean and ready for clinical use.
• Gives proper attention & treatment for injured/diseases employees and if the case of injury/illness needs further handling, he/she notifies to head of the clinic and arranges for immediate treatment.
• Helps the patient/employee to get ready for test and other examination before the handling of doctor of the brewery.
• Based on the type of wound he/she performs or assist minor surgery.
• Participate in occupational health and safety practice across the company.   Identification and reporting of unsafe condition, placement, and Refilling of first aid boxes.
• Ensure Emergency Response preparedness including Ambulance readiness and participating on drill as per plan of the company.
• Ensuring the availability of emergency drugs and tools.
• Ensuring application of infection prevention practices.
• Respond to control outbreak, epidemic and pandemic disease as per National /international protocol.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of employee encounters, treatments, and outcomes.
• Staying up to date on national MOH regulations, industry regulations, guidelines, and best practices related to workplace safety and healthcare.
• Health care training
• Educating employees about workplace safety practices, health promotion strategies, and preventive measures
• Take part on the training of first aiders.
• Handles other duties as directed by the line manager.
• Others-May be delegated to perform as a head of clinic in case of clinical head absence.

Job Requirements

Experience

• Licensed Nurse with a minimum work experience of 2 years
• Experience in FMCG will be an added advantage

Education

• Diploma in clinical nursing and above.
