Job Description

Job Purpose:

To create value for the employee and the organization.  In your daily work, you will be a true strategic partner and value driver for the Supply Chain Department and Heineken Breweries. You understand your key stakeholder’s challenge; you contribute to developing and delivering solutions that support Heineken in maintaining its market leadership and offering excellent employee experience.

SHAPING CULTURE, ORGANIZATION

DEI

Attraction

  • Ensure diverse panels (gender-wise) for all roles
  • Ensure diverse shortlists and panels (gender-wise) for all roles in the brewery
  • Ensures proactive talent attraction of female talent. Active recruitment of female talent

Retention

  • Systematic exit interviews for women and ensure facilities are suitable for women (i.e., toilets, changing rooms, lactation rooms, and breweries).
  • Development
  • Brewery team and Top Talents to have career conversation and PDP, including mentoring and conversation with Brewery Manger / Supply Chain with PD monitoring

Inclusive Culture

  • All people managers to be trained inclusive leadership. Conduct at least 2 Listening & Dialogue sessions for women in Supply Chain a year.
  • Ensure the SPEAK UP process is in place to raise awareness and prevent sexual harassment.

Climate

  • Identifies the key barriers or enablers behind a healthy team/ functional culture, leveraging these to enhance performance and engagement in the brewery.
  • Ensure results are shared across the Brewery, each function develops action plans, and monthly follow-up and updates are provided to the function’s leadership.
  • Engagement:
  • Effectively applying different engagement approaches, and the drivers and enablers of engagement.
  • Uses different approaches to engaging diverse voices, and how these approaches create strategic value for people and organization
  • Engaging Brewery leaders as culture-drivers and coaching them to drive desired cultural shifts Promoting inclusion, diversity and equity across the brewery.

FUTURE-PROOFING OUR ORGANIZATION AND OUR LEADERS

Remains current with emerging people concepts and spot trends, and advice and translating external trends and concepts into internal practices and policies

Protecting and Respecting Our People :

  • Advises Brewery leadership on Human Rights, speaks up policies, and tracks misconduct cases.
  • Establishes and proactively manages relationships with key stakeholders across the brewery, anticipating potential disputes and managing expectations appropriately.

Talent acquisition:

  • Stays closely aligned with succession planning to source for critical talent externally. Manage and maintain a good relationship with candidates, opco recruitment team and recruitment agencies.
  • Supports the establishment of an internal talent marketplace to foster internal mobility within HEINEKEN

Performance Management & Career Planning:

  • Oversees performance review cycles for the Brewery.
  • Support the Brewery manager and the leadership team in building a performance-driven culture.
  • Manage the Performance Review process in alignment with HEINEKEN global guidelines
  • Promote continuous conversation culture.
  • Advises Brewery leadership in the conduction of performance improvement plans.

Talent & Succession Management:

  • Builds and continuously shapes the integrated strategic workforce planning strategy, considering current and future demand, demographics, and critical and scarce skills for different talent segments within HEINEKEN
  • Participate in developing management succession plans and, together with Brewery Manager -identified successors, developed
  • Support the senior HR business partner in implementing a robust talent management process and coaching line managers on leading talent development discussions.
  • Oversees talent pools and succession plans in the brewery.
  • Work closely with the center of excellence to drive Performance and Organization Development strategies.

Learning & Leadership Development:

  • Fosters a culture of continuous learning.

Employee relations:

  • Supports representation of HEINEKEN to official bodies, worker unions, etc., understanding local requirements and demands.
  • Facilitate dialogues on employee/employer issues and advise the Brewery stakeholders on Labor Relations topics.
  • Provide counsel to line managers and employees regarding employment-related inquiries.
  • Support negotiations and foster constructive working relationships with employees, Managers, and Staff Representatives.
  • Ensure the Labor law and HEINKEN Human Rights policies are respected and followed.

Direct reports

  • HRBP and General service team.

Job Requirements

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR management experience, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, or FMCG environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing relationships and engagements with labor unions and relevant government authorities.
  • Hands-on experience in handling employee grievances, disciplinary processes, and industrial relations matters within a brewery or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong background in HR Operations, with direct exposure to supporting and partnering with brewery or plant operations.
  • Good business acumen and adaptability to change
  • High integrity and ability to coach
  • Strategic and tactical delivery skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively in English
  • Analytical and excellent attention to detail are a must
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines and independently
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office/ HR Systems is essential.
  • Data insights and decision-making Skills
  • Experience working in an international organization will be an added advantage.

Education

  • Minimum of a degree in Management, Public Administration, business administration, HR, or other related business fields.
