Background
HRNS-Ethiopia (Hanns R. Neumann Stiftung Ethiopia) is a development organization dedicated to empowering smallholder farming communities, primarily focusing on sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, and improving livelihoods. As part of the global HRNS network, the Ethiopia office works closely with coffee farmers and other agricultural producers to enhance their productivity, market access, and resilience against climate challenges.
HRNS-Ethiopia hereby invites qualified and licensed printing and publication firms to submit bids for the provision of comprehensive design, layout, and printing services for a series of technical manuals, research papers, reports, and branded materials.
Scope of Work
The selected service provider will be responsible for the full publication cycle, including:
- Graphic Design: Designing layouts compliant with HRNS corporate identity and donor branding guidelines.
- Printing: High-quality printing, binding, and finishing.
- Digital Delivery: Providing final high-resolution PDF versions of all materials.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring all deliverables are error-free and meet the technical specifications listed below.
Technical Specifications
All items must meet the following production standards:
- Dimensions: A4/A5 (as applicable)
- Cover Paper: 250gsm, Matt Laminated
- Inside Paper: 150gsm
- Color: Full Color (Cover & Inside)

How to Apply
Submission Requirements
Interested vendors must submit a proposal containing:
- Financial Quote: Detailed unit prices and total cost for each item, quoted in ETB and inclusive of all applicable taxes.
- Portfolio: Samples of previous similar assignments, particularly technical publications, manuals, or booklets.
- Valid License: Copies of valid and renewed business license, VAT registration certificate, and TIN certificate.
- Timeline Commitment: Written confirmation of the bidder’s capacity to complete the assignment within the required three (3) week timeframe.

All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and clearly labeled with the bid category.
