Location: Addis Ababa

Organization: Kifiya

Deadline:  September 3, 2026

Job Description

Department: Market Solutions Practice

About Kifiya:

Kifiya is an AI-powered financial and market infrastructure company advancing inclusive economic growth across Africa. We design and deploy risk decisioning systems, intelligent financial infrastructure, and market linkage platforms that unlock credit, insurance, payments, and capital access for MSMEs and smallholder farmers. We build the AI, data, and financial infrastructure that helps financial institutions serve hard-to-finance segments at scale.

Business Unit Description

The Market Solutions Practice (MSP) corrects structural market failures by leveraging four core infrastructures: intelligent data and decisioning, intelligent financial services, digital agriculture, and smart mobility. Through these platforms, MSP enables MSMEs, smallholder farmers, and low- to middle-income individuals to access finance, skills, and markets, driving job creation, social inclusion, and economic empowerment.

Position Summary

The Associate, PRM Platform Administrator is responsible for the availability, integrity, and operational usability of the Partner Relationship Management (PRM) platform, the system of record for participants routed through partner organizations and a pathway to credit that connects borrowers to credit scoring and banks.

This position covers platform administration, data capture and validation, workflow enablement, and operational reporting for the PRM platform only. It does not carry responsibility for partner relationship management, target setting, or credit decisioning, which sit with other MSP teams.

The postholder ensures that participant identification, profiling, KYC and consent capture, segmentation and inclusion tagging, referral packaging, and partner-bank feedback are executed consistently and produce clean, bank-ready and analysis-ready data at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration and Availability

  • Administer PRM user access, roles and permissions, and onboarding of implementing partner and partner bank users; maintain active user lists and access controls.
  • Monitor platform uptime, performance, and integration health; log, triage, and escalate incidents to Technology teams and track them to resolution.
  • Maintain release notes, change logs, and user communications for platform updates affecting Shared Credit Facility operations.
  • Work with the Product Manager in Technology when platform adjustments or fixes are needed, and test changes before they go live.

Data Capture, Quality and Validation

  • Configure and maintain PRM data fields, forms, and validation rules for accurate capture of segment type, geography, demographic tags, KYC and consent status, referral status, and lending outcomes.
  • Operate routine data-quality checks covering completeness, duplicates, inconsistent tags, and invalid values, and coordinate corrections with implementing partners, partner banks, and internal teams.
  • Ensure whitelisting and referral datasets are produced in bank-ready formats and aligned to agreed templates and data standards.
  • Maintain the integrity of the participant record across the journey from identification to disbursement, repeat lending, and commercial graduation.

Workflow Enablement for Delivery Teams

  • Support implementing partner pipeline workflows: participant upload, validation, deduplication, tagging, eligibility flags, cohort tracking, and referral package generation.
  • Support partner bank feedback workflows: application status, loan decision, disbursement confirmation, repayment indicators, decline reasons, and exceptions.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures, job aids, and short guides for implementing partner and internal PRM users.
  • Deliver refresher orientation on PRM use to partner users where submission error rates indicate a capability gap.

Reporting and Decision Support

  • Generate weekly and monthly operational reports for the Manager and delivery teams: volumes, funnel conversion, backlog, turnaround times, data error rates, and partner submission performance.
  • Provide cleaned datasets and structured extracts to MERL for disaggregated reporting by segment, partner, region, and inclusion group.
  • Configure and maintain automated alerts for missing bank feedback, stalled cohorts, and high-error partner submissions to reduce delivery slippage.

Security, Compliance and Audit Readiness

  • Enforce data governance practices: access control, audit trails, versioning, and secure handling of sensitive participant data.
  • Maintain data dictionaries, validation protocols, and partner submission requirements for audit and program quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with internal governance and QA teams to implement quality standards relevant to platform operations.

Key Outputs

  • Stable and fully operational PRM platform with minimal downtime and responsive issue resolution for all Shared Credit Facility users.
  • Bank-ready whitelisting and referral datasets produced on schedule and aligned to agreed data standards and templates.
  • Timely operational reports and alerts on data gaps, backlog, partner submission errors, and pipeline delays.
  • Documented PRM standard operating procedures, data dictionaries, and user guides enabling consistent use by partners, banks, and internal teams.
  • Secure, auditable data environment with clear access controls, audit trails, and compliance with program QA and data-governance requirements.

About You

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information systems, computer science, data or analytics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Five to eight or more years in platform administration, MIS, CRM or PRM operations, data quality management, or program technology operations, preferably in fintech, digital financial services, or development programs.
  • Strong practical data skills: validation logic, deduplication, structured extracts, and dashboard or reporting tools.
  • Experience working to structured delivery targets in a multi-partner environment is an advantage.

Core Competencies

  • High attention to detail and disciplined operational follow-through.
  • Strong troubleshooting and coordination across teams.
  • Data literacy, validation rigor, and dashboard interpretation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain service levels, and communicate clearly with non-technical users.
  • Attention to quality, compliance, and documentation.
  • Commitment to impact-driven delivery and inclusion-sensitive data practices.
