ROLE PURPOSE:

The post holder will be tasked with facilitating smooth operations, which include Fleet Management and Procurement issues. The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring proper Reporting and coordination with various departments including programs and other support units.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

    • Procurement Process.
    • Procurement Filling, filling, documentation.
    • Local  procurement including vehicle hire, framework agreements with Hotels, suppliers including guest house supplies
    • Coordination with Addis procurement for all procurement requests sent to Addis on daily basis.
    • Payment processing of all suppliers payment including vehicle payments.
    • Weekly sharing of the procurement tracker with all the Satellite office staffs.
    • Ensure timely submission of procurement report to the Supply Chain Officer
    • Daily, weekly and monthly Reporting of Supply Chain updates (Fleet).
    • Day to day management of SCI and rented cars for the Satellite office including allocation to programme activities.
    • Timely fueling of project vehicles upon authorization of the concerned people.
    • Regular updating of the vehicle files and ensuring all the required documentations are in place.
    • Ensuring that weekly/monthly movement plans are prepared and submitted to Supply Chain by Friday 4 pm.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma/BA Degree in Management, Warehouse management, Supply Chain management or related field.
  • 5 years relevant experience at least 2 years NGO experience
  • Good command of English Language
  • Computer literate with proficiency in basic office software MS Excel, Ms word
  • Highly organised with good administration skills for order and information management,
  • A commitment to children’s rights and principles of equal opportunity.
