Job Summary
To ensure effective utilization of project funds according to AMREF HEALTH AFRICA IN ETHIOPIA policies and procedures and donor guidelines. Under the supervision of the Finance officer, the Archive Clerk- support various aspects of the finance hard copy document team’s activities including: Sorting finance documents, providing documents for audit purpose and other verification support & assist Finance department.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Arrange, Sort and file in a chronological order of finance documents with its references
- Check financial documents for completness, accuracy, and ensure compliance with policies.
- Provide all supporting documents to donors based on donor requirement (stamp donor specific logos, write the amount in donor currency attached banks statement for each payment.) for specific project which requires separate Audit.
- Provide and scan WHT document, income tax, pension timely when request.
- Provide and scan timely project documents (prepayment) based on request
- collect bank transfer letters and deliver to the banks
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum 1-year experience in clerical, administrative, or archival roles.
- Ability to develop and implement solutions independently
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office, database management systems).
- Familiarity with document management and archiving systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
