Job Description
Menschen fuer Menschen Foundation- is a nongovernmental, nonreligious and nonpartisan humanitarian organization involved in Integrated Rural Development activities wishes to invite applicants with the following qualification and experience for Gofa and Boreda Integrated Rural Development Project (IRDP):
Position: Accountant
Language: A good command of spoken & written English
Salary: Negotiable
Terms of Employment: Yearly renewable contract
About You
Qualifications:
- BA/BSc or Diploma in Accounting
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ or 5 years’ experience in accounting works.
- NGO experience is advantageous.
Duty Station: Boreda IRDP, (Gamo Zone, Boreda District).
Gofa IRDP, (Gofa Zone, Sawila town)
Main duties:
- Handling checks payments and collections.
- Preparing check payment vouchers and checks.
- Keeping the register updated and the balance as well.
- Reconciling bank statement with registers.
- Preparing monthly financial report.
- Maintain up-to-date record of accounts using accounting software.
Skills REQUIRED:
- Computer literacy and IT skills with practical experience in accounting software such as Peachtree Accounting…
