Accountant

Dololo Import Export PLC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with 6 months to 2 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and assisting with daily accounting operations. Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and ledgers.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT and withholding tax filings.
• Process payroll and maintain employee financial records.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Handle bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the finance manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6 months to 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
