Job Description
Job Purpose
The Marketing and Business Development Manager will lead and coordinate the organization’s efforts to drive growth, with a strong emphasis on international expansion and market diversification. This role involves overseeing three key functions: Public Relations & Digital Marketing, Channel Management, and International Business Development. The manager will be responsible for developing strategic plans, identifying new market opportunities, particularly within the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector—and executing initiatives that support the company’s ambitious growth and diversification goals.
General Duties
The Marketing and Business Development Manager will develop and implement comprehensive strategies, lead the expansion into new international markets, and oversee the performance of the relevant teams. This role requires effective budget and resource management, as well as continuous analysis of global market trends to identify new opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a cohesive marketing and business development strategy that is fully aligned with the company’s vision, values, and objectives.
- Define clear goals and performance metrics for all marketing and business development activities to track effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
International Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for international expansion.
- Lead in-depth market research to understand international market dynamics, customer requirements, and competitor landscapes.
- Drive the identification and development of strategic partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures to support global growth.
- Develop comprehensive market-entry strategies, pricing models, and go-to-market plans for new international and BPO opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, international agencies, and potential BPO clients.
Team Leadership and Development
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Channel Management Lead, and public relations & Digital Marketing team.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and professional growth.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and support the professional development of team members.
Public relations & Digital Marketing team
- Oversee the development of a cohesive branding strategy and ensure consistent representation across all channels.
- Support the execution of CSR initiatives that align with the company’s mission and values.
- Collaborate with the Public relations & Digital Marketing team Leader to enhance brand visibility and drive impactful CSR projects.
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and communication across all marketing efforts.
Channel Management
- Ensure effective management of vendor and channel relationships to maximize market reach and product sales.
- Support the Channel Management Lead in conducting market research and analyzing market data to inform product strategies.
- Oversee the development and execution of market-centric product campaigns.
- Oversee the production of marketing materials, including advertisements, promotional content, and email campaigns.
Market Analysis and Insights
- Monitor global market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to inform marketing and business development strategies.
- Utilize data and analytics to measure the performance of all campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide clear insights and strategic recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.
Budget Management
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
- Track and report on budget performance, identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with other departments, including sales, pre-sales, and operation department, to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination between teams and other stakeholders.
About You
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of five years of relevant work experience in marketing as well as business development, with proven experience in a leadership role.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and overseeing multiple marketing functions.
- Strong understanding of business, marketing, and international business principles.
