About the role
Education Development Trust are inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified candidates for a new education programme in Ethiopia. The proposed programme will strengthen the relevance and quality of secondary education to ensure the successful transition of secondary students to tertiary education or the world of work by equipping them with relevant skills, knowledge and attitude through enhanced implementation of the skill-based curriculum.
We are seeking expressions of interest in the areas of:
- Programme Leadership
- Youth Engagement
- Employability, Skills and Careers
- Gender and Inclusion
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Finance
- HR and Safeguarding
Do you have experience of working in Ethiopia in one of the above areas?
You will have:
- Strong local networks and contacts, with an excellent understanding of the Ethiopian political and education context
- Specific expertise in the youth engagement, skills and employability, gender and inclusion within the education sector (for technical roles)
- Experience of working with or for non-government organisations on the delivery of donor funded projects
- Experience of stakeholder engagement/management
