Menschen fuer Menschen Foundation (MfM) is a nongovernmental, nonreligious, and nonpartisan humanitarian organization and would like to invite applicants for Agro-Technical & Technology College (ATTC) in Harar with the following qualifications and experience:

Position: Lecturer

 Number required: Two (2)

Duty Station: Harar

Salary: 55,000.00. ETB/month

Other Benefits: Housing Allowance Birr 1000 (One thousand Birr/month)

• Medical Coverage Birr 60,000.00 per year locally.

Language: A good command of spoken & written English

Terms of Employment: Yearly renewable contract

Main duties & Responsibilities:

• Conducts lecturers and training sessions according to the curricular requirement and contents of the College;
• Prepares lesson plans and develop up to the standard teaching materials for the courses he/she offers;
• Assess and evaluates students’ academic performances through summative and formative didactic evaluation methods.
• Fully commit himself/herself to engage in other curricular or extracurricular activities given by the College

Qualifications:                    

• MSc in Automotive Engineering/Technology and BSc in Automotive Technology/Engineering/Mechanical Engineering (Automotive Stream);
• CGPA ³ 3.50 for MSc and ³ 3.25 for BSc;
• MSc Thesis result should be good and above;
• Certificates from short term training on the Automotive Area;

Applicant must:                 

• Have a minimum of proven two years teaching experience at equivalent higher learning institutions (College/University);
• Can provide clearance;
• Have good team spirit;
• Be of a good conduct and free of any addiction;
• Be committed to achieve the goal of the Foundation; and
• Good knowledges and skill on auto automotive laboratory practical work, measurements and adjustment;
