Trainers – Academic Performance & Life Skills (50 Positions)

SUMMARY

New Life Training Center is seeking dynamic, engaging, and passionate Trainers – Academic Performance & Life Skills to mentor, educate, and empower children and adolescents aged 8 to 19. This role combines academic performance development with practical life-skills training, helping students improve not only their academic abilities but also the personal, social, emotional, and practical skills they need to succeed in school and in everyday life.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Education, Sociology, Youth Development, Social Work, or a related field, Background or additional training in education, psychology, child development, teaching, coaching, or youth development is an advantage.

EXPERIENCE

The trainer will work with two main developmental groups: children aged 8–12 and teenagers aged 13–19.

• Support students in developing effective study habits, concentration, time management, and learning strategies.
• Help students identify academic challenges and develop practical strategies to overcome them.
• Monitor student participation, learning progress, and academic development.
• Encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning and academic goals.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate relevant progress with parents and the appropriate team.
• Lead interactive training sessions on essential life skills, including critical thinking, decision-making, emotional management, communication, public speaking, financial literacy, digital responsibility, and career awareness.
• Connect life-skills concepts to real-life situations and practical experiences.
• Use activities, discussions, role-plays, challenges, and real-world scenarios to make learning practical and memorable.
• Adapt teaching and training methods according to the developmental stage of each age group.
• Use play-based activities, guided discussions, practical exercises, and interactive learning for students aged 8–12.
• Use discussions, debates, case studies, problem-solving activities, and real-world simulations for students aged 13–19.
• Recognize individual differences in students’ learning styles, abilities, confidence levels, and developmental needs.
• Act as a positive role model for students.
• Create a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental learning environment.
• Build trust and positive relationships with students.
• Encourage students to express their ideas, ask questions, take responsibility, and practice new behaviors.
• Support students in developing confidence, independence, discipline, and positive decision-making.
• Track student participation, engagement, and development.
• Assess skill acquisition through practical exercises, assignments, activities, and projects.
• Provide constructive and development-focused feedback.
• Work with the follow-up team and other staff to communicate important student progress or concerns.
• Prepare engaging lesson plans, training materials, activities, and practical exercises.
• Develop creative group challenges, role-play scenarios, discussions, and interactive learning tools.
• Continuously improve training methods based on student performance, feedback, and developmental needs.
