TENDER: FOR RENTAL OF 4WD TOYOTA LANDCRUISER HARDTOP OR EQUIVALENT

HEKS/EPER started supporting projects in Ethiopia in 1972 and is currently a key development and humanitarian partner for the Ethiopian government across four regions (Oromia, Amhara, Somali and South Ethiopia). HEKS/EPER works with vulnerable communities including pastoralists, internally displaced persons and female-headed households, providing support in water, hygiene and sanitation, food security, protection, shelter, natural resource management, livelihood recovery, agroecology, market system development and institutional engagement.

Pursuant to Proclamation 1113/2011 to provide for the Registration and Regulation of Charities and Societies, Swiss Church Aid (HEKS/EPER) in Ethiopia was re-registered by Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Authority for Civil Society Organizations as a Foreign Charity on October 22, 2019, for indefinite period.

Statement of Requirement

1. Legally registered and qualified suppliers with proven expertise and relevant experience are invited to participate in this tender. Eligible bidders must possess valid and appropriate qualifications.

The Bidder shall demonstrate compliance with applicable financial and tax regulations by possessing a registered cash register machine or an officially approved QR code-based receipt system.

Bidders shall also provide evidence of similar work experience, supported by recommendation letters issued by recognized INGOs or Government Organizations.

The request must be compiled by the following documents:

• A scanned copy of the bank payment advice as proof of payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 500.00 (Five Hundred Ethiopian Birr). The payment shall be made to:

  • The payment advice must clearly indicate the reference number of this specific tender.
• A valid copy of the bidder’s trade license.
• A copy of the bidder’s identification (ID).

Requests for bidding documents will be accepted from September 17, 2026, to October 7, 2026. All submissions must be made electronically through: procurement.eth@heks-eper.org including a scanned copy of the 1% CPO in the Admin and financial document folder.

1. The bid will be closed on October 7, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Detailed information on the bidding process and specifications can be found in the Bid Document, which can be requested via email at: procurement.eth@heks-eper.org.

HEKS/EPER hereby invites potential Bidders to submit their Price offer Companies should also submit their profile that includes at least legal documentation (Renewed trade license, Taxpayer

registration certificate, VAT registration certificate, Tax clearance from competes tax office, etc.) and important experience in providing related items in the area listed above. Experience can be expressed in the form of a letter of recommendation from previous customers.

1. The price will include the Supply of 4WD Toyota land cruiser hardtop or equivalent model 2013 and above with an excellent condition for Moyale and Hudet Woreda of Dawa Zone
2. Ability to deliver the required vehicle and model at the right time and place.
3. The delivery will be in two days, after the signing of the contract.
4.  Proven experience in supplying vehicles in similar locations.
5. Must assign a driver who can speak the local language.
6. The bidders should include VAT in the total price.
7. All pages of the bid document must have an official seal and address of the bidder. Documents without these will not be accepted.
8. All document certificates and handwriting should be neat, visible, readable, and validated.
